Get to know your storyteller! Leading up to our event on November 2nd, we’ll be bringing you brief bios of our speakers. Here’s John!
John Terpstra is a poet, writer and furniture maker who lives in the Strathcona neighbourhood. He is the author of Falling into Place, a book about Hamilton, and Naked Trees, a book about trees. His most recent publications and projects are:
1. a new book of poems, called Brilliant Falls;
2. a series of articles in Hamilton Arts and Letters (a great online journal) called Why Must We Die, which will appear as a book from Gaspereau Press in Fall 2014;
3. nine, seven-foot high bookcases, in pine;
4. an eleven-foot wide wall-unit, in oak.
Join us, November 2nd, at the Christ’s Church Cathedral, to hear John and others tell true stories from their own lives, live without notes! You can reserve your tickets online, here!
